postnatal massage

In our busy world it can feel like there are many things more important than taking care of yourself - especially as a new parent!  Whether you are becoming a parent for the first time or the fifth, it is important to carve out time to recharge.

Postnatal massage combines the rest and relaxation you crave with the physical support your body so desperately needs. Rest, rejuvenate, and get back to what you love. See all session rates.

Taking care of parents is taking care of baby.

Traditional Postpartum Massage

Rest on the table as we work deeply into overtaxed muscles. Relaxation and deep tissue massage combine to relieve tensions created by birth, early parenting, and postpartum changes. Special attention is given to shoulders, chest, belly, cesarean scar recovery, hip tension, and grounding. Appropriate birth through 2 years.

Ayurvedic Postpartum Massage

Gentle rhythmic movements soothe the nervous system in this ancient Indian therapy that rejuvenates and grounds the body and mind by drenching hard working tissues in nourishing warm oil. Appropriate for birthing parents immediately following a vaginal birth or 7-10 days following a cesarean birth through the first year postpartum.

We apologize this session is currently unavailable.

In-Home Postpartum Massage

Not quite ready to leave the house? Therapeutic massage in the comfort of your own home (or porch!). We bring the massage table, linens, blankets, and lotions. You provide a warm open space. Baby snuggles nearby. Available as single sessions or multiple sessions after vaginal or cesarean birth. Availability is limited. Please call or email to schedule.
