Faith Davis
Massage Therapist. Yoga Instructor. Yogi in Motion.
In the hustle and bustle of daily activities it can be easy to get lost in our external world and the many stimuli and demands it creates on our minds, our hearts, and our bodies. Take a moment to step away from the everyday. Step onto your mat. Relax on the massage table. Find a comfortable seat and listen to your breath. Quiet the mind. Once you find your balance, take it with you as your spend your day in motion.

Faith Davis learned her first massage skills at age five and has been hooked ever since. A native of West Virginia she received her BA in Comparative Religion & African Studies from Tufts University in Massachusetts before moving to Boulder, Colorado to attend the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Although Faith quickly discovered she loved all forms of massage, she focused on specializing in deep tissue - orthopedic work and a certification in Prenatal, Labor, and Postpartum support. This has led her to adventures as varied as traveling as the team massage therapist with a Boulder bike team to the Tour of the Gila, to luxury spas in Steamboat Springs, to attending her first labor. As a former equestrian and crew coxswain Faith understands the physical demands of an athletic lifestyle. After 12 years of practicing yoga she decided to train as a Hatha Yoga instructor through the Shambhava School of Yoga. Living at the Shoshoni ashram opened Faith's world to meditation and the quieter practice of connecting to the Self. In the summer of 2011 Faith completed a second 200 hour yoga teacher training in Om Flow Vinyasa yoga. She now hopes to share these many practices through the massage and yoga worlds. When she is not doing bodywork or yoga you can find Faith reading books, playing outdoors, or cooking up something spicy in her kitchen.
